FIELD: fire extinguishing.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to extinguishing fires in an electrical installation by means of low-frequency sound frequency oscillations. A device for extinguishing fires in an electrical installation by low-frequency oscillations of sound frequency, including those under voltage, contains a power supply unit consisting of a power step-down transformer containing a primary winding connected to the auxiliary contacts of the electric magnetic starter of the power supply network of the electrical installation, and three step-down windings, which connected to the inputs of the first, second and third single-phase full-wave rectifiers, the first of which is connected to a low-frequency signal power amplifier, the second and third are connected, respectively, to voltage stabilizers to power the low-frequency signal generator and the control panel. At the same time, fire detectors located in the protected space of the electrical installation and connected to the inputs of the "OR" element, structurally and functionally included in the control panel, the output of which is connected to the input of a low-frequency signal generator, the output of which is connected to an amplifier of low-frequency oscillations, the output of which is connected to the winding of a low-frequency electrodynamic loudspeaker, structurally mounted in one piece with a low-frequency signal resonator and placed in a fire-protected area of the electrical installation. The low-frequency signal generator is made by serial connection of the Schmitt trigger, the first waiting multivibrator, the first "AND" element, the second waiting multivibrator, the second "AND" element and the frequency divider, the output of which is connected to the amplifier of rectangular control pulses, to the output of which a pulse transformer is connected, the output the winding of which is connected to a low-frequency oscillation amplifier connected between a single-phase two-half-wave rectifier and a low-frequency electrodynamic loudspeaker. The low-frequency oscillation amplifier is made on the basis of a thyristor, to the control electrode of which the output winding of a pulse transformer is connected, the anode of the thyristor is connected to the positive output of the first single-phase two-half-wave rectifier, and the cathode is connected to a low-frequency electrodynamic loudspeaker, the resonator of which is mounted in the protected space of the electrical installation.
EFFECT: improvement of method for extinguishing fires in an electrical installation.
