SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to extinguishing fires in electrical installations. A device for extinguishing fires in electrical installations, mainly of a vertical layout, including those under voltage, contains a power supply unit consisting of a power step-down transformer containing a primary winding connected to the auxiliary contacts of the electric magnetic starter of the power supply network of the electrical installation, and four step-down windings, which are connected to the inputs of the first, second, third and fourth single-phase full-wave rectifiers, the first of which is connected to a voltage stabilizer to power the receiving and control unit, to the output of which the executive relay is connected, the second rectifier is connected to the voltage stabilizer through the closing contact of the executive relay to power the low-frequency signal generator, the third rectifier is connected through the closing contacts of the executive relay to the anode of the first a low-frequency signal power amplifier made on a controlled thyristor, the cathode of which is connected to the voice coil of an electrodynamic loudspeaker, structurally connected to a frequency resonator located on the housing or inside the electrical installation. The device additionally contains a second amplifier made on a controlled thyristor, the anode of which is connected through the closing contact of the executive relay to the output of the fourth single-phase full-wave rectifier, and the cathode is connected to the voice coil of the second electrodynamic loudspeaker, structurally connected to the second resonator located in another fire-protected part of the electrical installation, with At the same time, pulse shaping amplifiers are connected to the control electrodes of the thyristors, the inputs of which are connected to the direct and inverse outputs of the trigger, the combined input of which is connected to the output of the master low-frequency pulse generator.
