FIELD: chemistry; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering processes and devices and can be used, for example, in power, oil and gas, chemical and food industries for wet cleaning of gases, absorption, rectification (distillation) in a gas-liquid system. Heat-and-mass exchanger comprises cylindrical housing with gas feed and discharge branch pipes arranged at its top and liquid feed and discharge branch pipes at its bottom. On the rotating longitudinal shaft there are contact discs with holes installed with a gap relative to the housing, the shaft and each other with the possibility of partial immersion into liquid with provision of joint formation of gas and liquid flows. Each contact disc is made with holes, wherein openings in next contact discs are shifted by 30° along circular arc to accommodate guides for formation of axial and directed gas flow. Seals are arranged on both sides of contact discs.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of heat and mass exchange processes.
