FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: problem is solved with the help of the method of horizontal cylindrical heat exchanger assembly. Said heat exchange comprises shaft with working member for heat exchange processes, heat exchanger housing and rings of housing outer surfaces. First, the shaft is fitted and at least two rows of spokes are fitted thereon. Rings are fitted on spoke ends while working members are fitted on said spokes. Now heat exchanger housing is assembled of rolled sheets as separate sections to be connected with the edges of rings.
EFFECT: better manufacturability, lower metal input, higher capacity and volume of heat exchangers, simplified assembly.
