SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to methods for artificial cultivation of microalgae of the species Chlorella vulgaris. The method for cultivation of microalgae Chlorella vulgaris involves growing microalgae in a photobioreactor on a nutrient medium with aeration and mixing of layers under artificial lighting. Microalgae are grown in a photobioreactor with a wedge-shaped bottom, on a Tamiya nutrient medium with the addition of 0.01% ASD F-2 preparation, with constant aeration and stirring of the suspension using an aquarium pump and a compressor with simultaneous supply of 0.05 l/min carbon dioxide, at a temperature of 30°C and continuous illumination with 5000 Lux fluorescent lamps. The photobioreactor for growing microalgae has a rectangular cross-section, the distance between the large walls is 10 cm. The wedge-shaped bottom has ascending and descending parts, the angle between which, as well as the angles between each part and the adjacent vertical wall, are equal to 120°. The length of the working vertical wall connected to the descending part of the bottom is L, the projection of the descending part of the bottom on the horizontal base is 2/3 L, and the projection of the ascending part of the bottom on the horizontal base is 1/3 L. This bottom structure improves the mixing of the microalgae suspension.

EFFECT: increase in the growth of biomass and the preservation of the required quality with minimal time and energy costs, as well as the simplicity and accessibility of the method.
