SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology and molecular biology and is a set of oligonucleotides for semi-quantitative evaluation of chicken DNA (Galus galus) in meat products by real-time PCR. The kit contains primers and a probe for detection of chicken species-specific DNA complementary to the Rarres1 gene region; primers and a probe for detecting mammalian and avian DNA complementary to a region of the ultraconserved genomic element VE1800. The kit can be used to calculate the content of chicken DNA (% DNA) relative to the total amount of mammalian and avian DNA in a sample.

EFFECT: using the invention, it is possible to differentiate falsification of meat products from trace amounts of undeclared chicken meat ingredients and from the presence of egg products.
