SUBSTANCE: invention relates to television methods of obtaining an image. Result is achieved by the fact that the lens forms an image on an area equal to the sum of light-sensitive areas of n CCD matrices. CCD matrices are shifted relative to each other. This image is projected on all CCD matrices on four channels so that each of them generates a video signal from only one of n sectors of this image. Video signals from CCD matrices, which operate in parallel, are digitized, pre-processed and recorded into memory, from where they are read at a frequency n times higher than the clock frequency. Digital image is obtained by electronic combination of video signals of CCD matrices, which convert adjacent sectors of the image, after which the video signal is finally processed. Method is realized with the help of a device comprising an optical unit, n converters of an optical image into a digital signal, a control unit, a commutator and a final processing unit.
EFFECT: high quality of a digital image by increasing its resolution by n times.
