FIELD: technology of water and air purification.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of purifying water in public utilities, at microbiological, food and chemical industries, in treatment facilities. Disclosed is a method of treating waste water using an aeration device consisting of a guide supply polyethylene pipe, held horizontally afloat by means of stainless ropes, with aerators reinforced along its entire length, into which air is supplied under pressure. Air from it through rubber hoses and unions is supplied to aerators with weights suspended on the supply pipe, at that, air bubbles rising from the aerator, in accordance with the Rayleigh — Taylor effect, pendulum movement of the pipe (left-right) and aerators attached to it is created, providing an increase in the volume of water aeration.
EFFECT: proposed method enables to reduce the power consumed for aeration of electrical energy and the cost of operation by reducing the power of the blowers when aerating a larger volume of water; ease of assembly reduces investment costs by 1,2–1,5 times.
