FIELD: biological purification of sewage effluent. SUBSTANCE: device can be used in aeration tanks, aeration ponds for aeration and mixing of effluent. Device has source of compressed air and aerating member. Aerating member is made in the form of floating strip with hole in its geometric center. Used as source of compressed air is fan installed on strip. Pressure pipe union of fan is connected to hole in floating strip. Strip can be made round in configuration, and connected to its lower surface in this case at angle to radius of strip are blades of convexo-concave shape. EFFECT: application of aforesaid embodiment of device ensures more efficient aeration and mixing of sewage effluent together with reduced power input cost; higher efficiency. 1 cl, 7 dwg
