FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used in the treatment of fractures of the olecranon by immersion osteosynthesis. Two wires with thrust pads are inserted retrograde from the upper third of the ulna through the fracture zone into the apex of the olecranon. The distal part of the wire loop is carried out around the support pads of the distal region of the wires. The proximal part of the wire loop is carried out over the tip of the olecranon around the proximal ends of the wires, which are bent, cut off and immersed in the cortical plate of the tip of the olecranon. Then the position of extension of the elbow joint is provided and the wire loop is tightened by twisting its ends with each other.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to ensure minimal injury to the ulna by eliminating the formation of a through hole in the cortical layer of the ulna with a drill, achieving correct reposition, eliminating the migration of wires and reducing the risk of osteosynthesis failure due to the combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
