FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for osteosynthesis of olecranon fractures. An olecranon fracture is operatively approached; an approach is made bluntly and sharply within the fracture area and the diaphyseal portion of the ulnar bone. After the fracture is repositioned, one K-wire is inserted with a soldering, the wire is delivered from the shaft of the ulnar bone through the fracture zone into the fragment of the broken olecranon — the solder rests on the shaft of the ulnar bone, so that the feather part of the wire protrudes through the olecranon at the attachment point of the triceps tendon. After X-ray control is performed distal to the fracture in the projection of the neck of the ulnar bone, a canal is formed with a drill, tapped and a spongy screw is installed. Wire free end is turned through 180° and along the contour of the screw body, the wire is twisted, with the formation of a loop, after which the screw is twisted.

EFFECT: method provides elimination of K-wire migration in olecranon fractures, as well as if osteosynthesis is possible in cases when installation of another metal structure is impossible due to the presence of a small bone fragment, due to a combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
