FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous metal casting. Device for obtaining continuously cast deformable billets contains pouring ladle (1) with barrel (2) and vertical crystallizer. Vertical crystallizer is formed by driven side striker (3), a pair of walls (8) and vertical water-cooled plate (6). Driven side striker comprises inclined top section (4) of working surface and bottom section (5) of working surface and is fixed on two eccentric parallel horizontal shafts (9). Pair of walls is fixed on lower drive shaft with possibility of back-and-forth movement, which is shifted in phase to movement of drive side striker. On lateral sides of the water-cooled plate there are vertical slots (10) in contact with corresponding projections (11) of the pair of walls, which sets the vertical movement of the said walls.

EFFECT: use of water-cooled plate as the second driven side striker provides reduction of dimensions of the device and reduction gear, transferring rotation from the engine to horizontal shafts.
