FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to continuous casting of metals. The apparatus for producing continuously cast deformed billets is comprised of a casting ladle (1) with a nozzle (2) and a vertical crystalliser. The crystalliser is formed by a pair of walls (3) with inclined upper (4) and calibrating lower (5) sections, wherein each of the sections rotates on two eccentric shafts with deformation of the hardening billet, and a pair of reciprocally moving walls with vertical surfaces (7). The eccentric of the upper eccentric shaft (11) is larger than the eccentric of the lower eccentric shaft (10) by an amount allowing to move the inclined upper sections of the walls of the crystalliser at a speed and value of approach of the walls greater than the speed and value of approach of the lower calibrating sections of the walls. Each wall with an inclined upper section in the upper part comprises a rectangular window (9). In the window (9), a cushion (12) moves in a vertical plane on flat rolling or sliding bearings, wherein the upper eccentric shaft (11) is installed rotatably.

EFFECT: increased reliability and productivity of the apparatus are ensured with improved quality of the billet.
