SUBSTANCE: agricultural working machine comprises a hydraulic control system actuating valves of the working machine, each of which is assigned with connectors of the machine, to which it is possible to connect at least one working unit with mating connectors for actuating a control element with a hydraulic drive, as well as a control unit comprising input and output means and connected to a hydraulic control system by a signal line. Hydraulic control system is made so that each valve is directly assigned one hydraulic function and at least one control element of the control unit. Assignments are stored in the storage device of the working machine with the possibility of their calling. Method of controlling an agricultural working machine, comprising a hydraulic control system, by means of which working machine valves are actuated, each of which is assigned with machine connectors, to which at least one working unit with mating connectors is connected for actuation of control element with hydraulic drive, as well as a control unit comprising input and output means and connected to a control system by a signal line. When selecting a working unit, each valve is directly assigned a hydraulic function and at least one control element of the control unit. Assignments are called from the working machine memory.
