SUBSTANCE: well-head gland includes body 1 with circular space to accommodate gland rod 2 where gland packing in the form of separated rings 5 with bevels which joints are turned relative to each other are located, pressure nut 10 with journal box 7 is screwed to act on gland packing. Conical reamer into which new sealing rings 9 are added as gland packing wears out is made in part of body opposite to journal box. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of sealing of well-head. 1 dwg
