FIELD: stuffing boxes for sealing of polished rods. SUBSTANCE: casing-head stuffing box has cylindrical body and two units of sealing rings. Cylindrical body is hermetically hinged to adapter for connection with wellhead equipment. Two units of sealing rings serve for alternating sealing of polished rod located inside body. Adapter is made of two relatively movable in horizontal plane upper and lower parts ensuring parallel displacement of body through value of polished rod displacement from axis of well pipe hanger with sealed movable contact between them. EFFECT: provided long service life of stuffing box, light and quick replacement of upper unit of sealing rings. 2 cl, 6 dwg
