FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for producing inorganic pigments from wastes of gas cleaning of metallurgical production of metal dust and can be used, mainly, in construction industry, as well as in the chemical industry in the manufacture of varnishes, paints, plastics, industrial rubber articles. Plant for producing iron oxide pigments contains a hopper for initial raw materials, a vibrating sieve for separation into fractions of production wastes, sieving dryer, waste receiver, finished product collector and commercial product packing unit. At that, it is equipped with apparatus of vortex layer of ferromagnetic particles, in which fine grinding of sieving is carried out under the influence of electromagnetic field, created by stator windings and intensively moving ferromagnetic bodies, performing all types of action on crushed material, such as impact, abrasion, cavitation. Vortex layer apparatus is installed along the technological process and is connected to the sieving drying apparatus and directly to the finished product collector, which in turn is connected to the finished product packing unit.
EFFECT: increase in plant efficiency, increase the quality of the resulting product, reduce energy costs.
