FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of a vanadium-containing product from ore or a concentrate containing vanadium, titanium and iron. A method includes bringing ore or the concentrate containing vanadium, titanium and iron to a recovery stage to obtain restored ore or the concentrate, bringing restored ore or the concentrate to a stage of leaching with iron(III) to obtain a product of leaching with iron(III), containing iron, and a residue of leaching with iron(III), containing titanium and vanadium, and bringing the residue of leaching with iron(III) to a stage of acidic leaching with hydrochloric acid to obtain a product of acidic leaching, containing vanadium, and a residue of acidic leaching, containing titanium, after which the product of acidic leaching is used to extract vanadium.
EFFECT: raw materials for leaching are provided, containing vanadium, from which the substantial part of present iron was removed, and which is especially suitable for leaching, as the result of which a leaching product containing vanadium is obtained.
