FIELD: nuclear power.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device and method for repairing the insulation of a heating pipe of an electric heater of a pressure compensator in a nuclear power plant. The device comprises an upper unit (1), a control module (2), a lower unit (3), a fan motor (4), while the upper unit (1) is connected to the lower unit (3). Moreover, the control module (2) is connected to the upper part of the upper block (1), and the upper block (1) includes a heat-insulating mounting bar (5) and a heat-insulating outer wall (6) and fan blades (9). The heat-insulating fastening bar (5) is connected to the upper part of the heat-insulating outer wall (6). The fan motor (4) is connected to the lower surface of the heat-insulating fastening strip (5), the fan blades (9) are connected to the lower part of the fan motor (4). The bottom block (3) includes an internal heating insert (10) and a stand (13), which are interconnected. In the method, all electric heating pipes (22) are placed in the internal heating insert (10) of the device, then the device is heated with circulating air. After heating, the insulation repair device (23) is turned off and removed.
EFFECT: improving the performance and reliability of the electric heater.
