FIELD: internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: device has heater 1 mounted on bottom of oil sump of internal combustion engine under oil header. Housing of heater 1 is made in form of two horizontal plates manufactured from heat-resistant electrical insulating material. Arranged in between plates is thin band with supply electrodes 6 and discharge electrodes 6 and protective inserts with butt soldered seams. Through ports provided in upper plate are used for direct contact of oil with heating element-band. EFFECT: simplification of construction and reduction of overall dimensions. 2 cl, 4 dwg
