FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a particle for treating intracavitary cancer, comprising: CaCO3, alpha-particle emitting radioactive isotope 224Ra and decay products of radioactive isotope 224Ra, selected from the group consisting of 220Rn, 216Po and 212Pb, also relates to a composition for treating intracavitary cancer, comprising one or more particles and a diluent, a carrier, a surfactant and/or an excipient, also relates to a method of producing a particle, comprising bringing an alpha-particle emitting radioactive isotope 224Ra and CaCO3 into contact with each other with or without using a radioactive isotope carrier, and also relates to a kit for producing a particle for treating endocavitary cancer, comprising: a composition containing CaCO3, a composition, containing an alpha-particle emitting radioactive isotope 224Ra and decay products of radioactive isotope 224Ra, selected from a group consisting of 220Rn, 216Po and 212Pb.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides obtaining particles effective for treating cancer, which are free from disadvantages of other similar known agents, in particular systemic toxicity.
