FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to a flow-through resonant air sterilizer. The sterilizer contains a housing with windows for the inlet and outlet of the processed air, a disinfection chamber, the inner surface of which has a reflective surface, and a bactericidal UV radiation source located inside the disinfection chamber and equipped with an electronic ballast. The source of bactericidal UV radiation is fixed on the upper end of the tube for air entry into the disinfection chamber, made in the form of an oval resonant flask, at the focus of the spherical surface of the upper part of the flask. A cylindrical channel for air outlet from the disinfection chamber is made in the lower part of the flask coaxially with the air inlet tube. The source of bactericidal UV radiation is made in the form of an undulator radiation source with a wiggler. The electronic ballast is equipped with a UV radiation source radiation sensor and contains an associated supply battery, a battery charge power supply control circuit, a high voltage source, a power stage, a measuring circuit and an integrated control circuit.
EFFECT: increase in the power and coherence of ultraviolet radiation of the flow resonant air sterilizer.
