FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surface processing of mechanical parts that withstand harsh operating conditions; it can be used in aircraft engines, in particular in combustion chambers, high-pressure turbines and elements of exhaust gas release. Parts made of composite material with a ceramic matrix contain a protective structure, while it contains a coating layer with a gradually changing composition. This coating layer with a gradually changing composition contains at least one phase of silicon and one phase of aluminum, proportions of which vary depending on the corresponding height of the layer. The first height of the coating layer with a gradually changing composition corresponds to the composition without silicon content, the second height corresponds to the composition without aluminum content. The invention also relates to a method for applying such a protective coating.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the service life of parts made of composite material with a ceramic matrix by increasing the resistance of parts to corrosion in a humid environment.
