FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to configuring resources for device-to-device communication (D2D). Resources are detected on at least one carrier by means of a terminal device based on the first set of parameters in order to obtain a set of available resources on this at least one carrier, wherein a resource in the set of available resources on each carrier can be used to transfer a target service. In this case, the first set of parameters contains at least one of: resource information for performing resource detection, a condition parameter for determining the set of available resources, and a parameter of the target service transfer. Then, information about the set of available resources on at least one carrier is transmitted via the terminal device to a network device. At the same time, an index of at least one potentially suitable target resource in the set of available resources on at least one carrier is reported to the network device.
EFFECT: providing assistance to the network device in the efficient allocation of resources to the terminal device, while reducing mutual interference.
