SUBSTANCE: asphalt processing system consists of heating drum and induction heating system. Blades move asphalt through heating drum, which simultaneously heats asphalt together with wall of heating drum. Mixing drum can be connected to heating drum and can include blades and blades for movement of asphalt with simultaneous mixing of material to ensure constant temperature in asphalt cement. Drum wall is heated using one or more induction heating systems to temperature of 300 °F up to 750 °F, displacement of asphalt along the drum with its simultaneous mixing and formation of a heated mixture to temperature of 300 °F up to 350 °F. System can include a convection system which heats recirculated air through a heating drum. Modification of asphalt cement is possible by adding one or more anti-aging oils.
EFFECT: disclosed are a rotary mixing and induction heating system and a method of processing asphalt using said system.
