FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to cardiology and cardiosurgery. Disclosed is a method for predicting the risk of developing cardiovascular complications for 12 months after elective endovascular myocardial revascularization in patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD). Before the revascularization procedure, the blood serum homocysteine concentration is determined and the degree of risk p is calculated. If p > 0.5, a high risk of cardiovascular complications is predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides creating an effective method for predicting the risk of developing cardiovascular complications in the patients with stable IHD who have undergone planned endovascular myocardial revascularization.
