SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of automatic adjustment, namely to apparatuses for adjusting the gas pressure, and can be used in various fields of industry, medicine and agriculture. The gas pressure reducer comprises: a body (1) with a built-in seat (2) made of fluoroplast or another suitable material, an inlet fitting (17), an outlet fitting (18), a tuning part including a tuning screw (3), a spring (4), a membrane (5), end stops (6) and (8), a socket (7) and a reducing unit including a rod (9) with an end stop (10), a spring (11), a valve (12), wherein a channel (13) is provided, connecting the working cavity (14) of the reducer with the cavity (19) of the balancing chamber, a balancing chamber (15) with a sealing ring (16) installed therein, is characterised by the fact that the balancing chamber is pressed against the body of the reducer by the pressure of the gas entering the reducer, and the spring of the reducing valve is removed into the membrane installation area.
EFFECT: reduction in the size and weight of the reducer with the maintained flow characteristic of the reducer and other working parameters.
