FIELD: rolling stock.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the system of monitoring the lower gauge and derailment of the rolling stock. The system comprises descent/drag sensors in the form of elements of a T-shaped profile comprising structurally made sections for receiving the load, installed inside and outside the rail track on a common platform and fixed on it with brackets, whereas the platform is made in the form of a metal corrosion-resistant structure, with a cavity isolated from external environmental factors, and is installed in the intersleeper space. Rolling stock derailment/drag sensors are made of spring steel capable of returning to their original shape despite significant bending and twisting, with resistive sensing elements mounted on them that react to bending, and covered with polyurethane, while each derailment/drag sensor has an independent connection to the system reader.
EFFECT: increased durability and reliability of systems for monitoring the lower clearance and derailment of the rolling stock.
