FIELD: railway transport; traffic safety.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains derailment detectors of vehicle wheelset or hangover of massive parts of vehicle beyond the limits of lower clearance gauge connected into common electric circuit. Each detector includes two conducting brackets installed in conducting ports, conducting flange inter connecting the brackets, check device and inlet signal light connected through cable sealing boxes to electric circuit of detectors. Posts of brackets are installed on common platform being electrically insulated from the platform. Detectors are connected by conductors butt-joint with corresponding posts. Platform is electrically insulated from rails and is provided with electrically insulated platform-to-rail fasteners. Device features enlarged functional capabilities as to operation and application.

EFFECT: reduced labor input and facilitated mounted and demounting owing to use of unit design.
