SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to a protective device for a pre-filled syringe, and to an injector comprising the protective device. The protective device comprises a hollow support body holding the pre-filled syringe inside, a holding cuff detachably attached to the support body and mounted on the pre-filled syringe, and a rotating cuff comprising a centre hole for receiving the pre-filled syringe, and at least one projecting guide pin, which projects from a guide path formed in the support body. The guide groove comprises an inclined section and an axial section connected thereto; the above rotating cuff is integrated into the support body and configured displaceable along an axial length of the support body and rotating about the central axis (A) of the protective device. The above holding cuff is configured displaceable in relation to the support body in the proximal direction when the holding cuff is detached from the support body by means of the rotating cuff actuated by a spring.
