FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus relates to medical equipment, in particular, to protective tools for disposable needles intended for medicine injection. Protective apparatus comprises a protective cap to be installed on the cannula of the needle, made in the form of a three-segment hollow tube. The upper and middle segments are provided with grooves, and the lower and middle segments are provided with pins inserted into the grooves. An elastic strap is therein attached to the inner surface of the lower segment, said strap being in a stretched position and clamped between the upper segment and the cannula of the needle inserted into the cap.
EFFECT: use of the proposed apparatus minimises the risk of injury to the user, eliminating the reflexive violation of the injection instructions, related to putting the cap on the syringe needle after the injection.
