FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to biotechnology and provides for methods for inducing tolerance and/or suppressing an immune response to an antigen by passing a cell suspension containing a nuclear-free cell through a narrowing, where the narrowing deforms the cell, thereby causing perturbation in the cell so that the antigen and/or a tolerant factor penetrates the cell. In some embodiments, the nuclear-free cell is delivered to an individual, and the antigen is delivered to a tolerant environment and is processed there to induce tolerance and/or suppress an immune response to an antigen.
EFFECT: obtaining methods for inducing tolerance or suppressing an immune response to an antigen.
