FIELD: computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: claimed technical solution generally relates to the field of computer technology, and in particular to quantum cryptography and means for transmitting information over an optical channel between a receiver and a transmitter using a beacon laser radiation. The expected result is achieved due to the implementation of a method for transmitting information via an optical channel between the receiver and the transmitter using the radiation of a laser beacon, which contains the steps at which: the mutual orientation of the receiver and the transmitter using the radiation of a laser beacon is established; the radiation of a laser beacon is modulated, while the radiation contains the transmitted information; the modulated radiation is directed to the photo matrix; this radiation is retained on the receiving photodiodes; part of the radiation is diverted from the photo matrix; the diverted radiation is directed to a high-speed photodiode; the received information transmitted by the diverted radiation is read.
EFFECT: increase in the speed of information transmission over the optical channel between the receiver and the transmitter using the radiation of a beacon laser.
