FIELD: quality control.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of quality control of automobile gasoline and concerns a method for determining the amount of Keropur detergent additive in automobile gasoline. The method includes sampling, accumulation of the additive in the sample, bringing the solvent to the mark in a 5 ml volumetric flask, removing the IR spectrum of the solution transmission at an individual value of the wave number, building a calibration graph in the coordinates “transmission value - additive concentration” and finding the amount of detergent additive on it. The additive is accumulated by vacuuming the sample at a bath temperature of 165°C and a vacuum of 140 mbar. Bringing to the mark is carried out with n-heptane. The removal of the IR solution transmission spectrum is carried out at a wavenumber value of 1110.985 cm-1, and the calibration graph is based on the inverse dependence of the value of the transmission value of the solution on the concentration of the Keropur additive in automobile gasoline.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of measurements and excluding toxic substances from the measurement process.
