PORTABLE HEAT SYSTEM FOR REPELLING INSECTS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A01M1/20

Abstract RU 2770591 C2

FIELD: agriculture; pest repellents.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for releasing volatile substances to repel insects. The evaporator contains a container with volatile liquid, in which a wick is located, the lower part of which is in contact with volatile liquid, and the upper part protrudes from the container, while a set of guiding elements are symmetrically arranged around the wick. The evaporator also contains base 12 with first recess 14, in which container 11 tightly enters, battery 13 located in base 12, and lid 10 with a cylindrical heater located in it. Lid 10 is made with the possibility to be closed on base 12 or attached to it and is adapted to establish a functional electrical connection between battery 13 and heater, when it is closed or attached to base 12. Lid 10 has an inner part, in which there are a set of recesses for guides. Each of the set of guide elements is inserted into one of the set of recesses for guides. Wick 16 is located in the center of the heater, when container 11 is functionally inserted into first recess 14, and lid 10 is closed or attached to base 12, while the possibility of inserting guide elements into recesses for guides and closing or attaching lid 10, when container 11 is incorrectly inserted into first recess 14, is excluded to ensure that it is impossible to close lid 10 or attach it to base 12 and establish a functional electrical connection between the heater and battery 13, if wick 16 is not located in the center of the heater.

EFFECT: evaporator is characterized by longer operation and lower physical consumption of volatile substances.
