SUBSTANCE: orthosis for knee joint fixation consists of a cuff wrapped around the leg in the knee area, made of an elastic textile material in the form of a single-piece pattern, with non-stretchable straps attached thereto, with securing elements of the non-stretchable straps, also made with elastic piping sewn along the entire contour of the single-piece pattern, except for the non-stretchable straps and the securing elements of the non-stretchable straps. The orthosis is made with an insert made of elastic fabric, located in the area of presumed kneecap or without said insert. The orthosis is made with flexible convex springing stiffening ribs sewn in parallel to the short side of the single-piece pattern along the length of the leg on both sides relative to the central part of the knee, made, in turn, with thickened areas on both sides of the knee. The orthosis is made with non-stretchable straps located on both sides relative to the central part of the single-piece pattern along the longer side, configured to be tightened in stages and subsequently secured with clamps. The orthosis is made with elements for securing and tensioning the non-stretchable straps, attached to the front part. The orthosis is made on the front part of the single-piece pattern with textile holders for threading the non-stretchable straps through said holders, in order to tighten before securing.

EFFECT: invention provides a tight fit to the limb and tight physiologically correct fixation of the limb, with the maintained heat and moisture exchange and air exchange in order to achieve a therapeutic effect.
