INSTALLATION FOR TESTING THE INFLUENCE OF THE HEAT OF HYDRATION OF CEMENT OR DRILLING MUD ON THE STABILITY OF NATURAL GAS HYDRATE Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC G01N25/20 G01N25/48 G01N33/22

Abstract RU 2770639 C1

FIELD: testing devices.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an apparatus for testing the effect of the heat of hydration of a cement or drilling mud on the stability of natural gas hydrate, which comprises a gas source 1; pressure control valve 2; device 3 for measuring the mass flow of gas; pressure gauge 4; thermostatic tank 6; switching valve 7 water source; made with the possibility of observation of the reaction boiler 8; control panel 13; computing device 16; heating jacket 23; pressure sensor 24; temperature sensor 25; at the same time, the reaction boiler, made with the possibility of observation, is connected in series with a pressure gauge, a gas mass flow measurement device, a pressure control valve and a gas source, and is also connected to a thermostatic tank by means of a water source switching valve. The reaction boiler is surrounded on the outside by a heating jacket, on which several temperature sensors and pressure sensors are respectively located on both sides. When used in the process of cementing a well, a cylinder with a cement slurry is fixed in the center of the boiler body, while a cement slurry is placed in the cylinder with a solution; when used in a well drilling process, a drilling fluid circulation line is located in the center of the boiler body, wherein the drilling fluid circulation line is connected to the drilling fluid pumping line.

EFFECT: present invention is characterized by a simple and fast testing process and can be used in studies of the effects of heat released during hydration of cement slurry and drilling fluid on the stability of natural gas hydrate.
