FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: method includes: sending duplicated data packets by a terminal device to a network device on the first carrier containing only the second component carrier and the second carrier; and sending information of indication of radio communication line failure (hereinafter – RLF) by the terminal device to the network device, when determining that RLF event takes place on the first carrier, wherein information of RLF indication is used to indicate that RLF event takes place on the first carrier.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of optimizing the processing of RLF in a scenario, in which the data packet is transmitted duplicated.
