SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication, particularly to a method and apparatus for wireless communication channel packet data processing. Technical result of the proposed technical solution is achieved by the fact that in the disclosed solution provision is made for reception by the terminal device of the first indication message sent by the radio access network, wherein the first indication message contains a field indicating whether to activate the radio link duplication mode.
EFFECT: high efficiency of informing a terminal device of activating/deactivating a duplication mode.
