FIELD: biology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biology and environmental ecology. The method for biological treatment of soils contaminated with heavy metals includes sowing mustard seeds in the amount of 1.95-24.3 million pieces per hectare, mowing and removing green mass until flower-bearing shoots form. At the beginning of the formation phase of the rosette of mustard leaves, EDTA is applied to the soil at a dose of 7.5 kg per ha.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of soil cleaning from heavy metals: copper, zinc, lead and nickel.
