FIELD: forestry; woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the forestry and woodworking industry, in particular to devices for tensioning and adjusting the saw chain of the cutting-chain apparatus of a motor saw. The working body of the portable motor saw includes a composite saw bar and saw chain, as well as a tension mechanism. The design of the composite saw bar contains guide balls (2), which are located in the grooves on each side of the inner (3) and outer plates (4, 5). In this case, the guide balls protrude by the value of the technological gap relative to the outer plates. The number of balls is at least four on each side of the composite saw bar.
EFFECT: invention increases the efficiency of regulation and movement of the chain, simplifies the process of replacing the chain.
