FIELD: forestry; woodworking.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in devices for tensioning and regulating the saw chain of the cutting-chain apparatus of a motor saw. The working body of a portable motor saw, including saw bar (1), a guide device with fastening means, the guide elements of which protrude by the amount of the technological gap. Guide rollers (5) are used as guide elements. Moreover, the value of the technological gap, equal to 0.1-0.2 mm, is maintained by springing the guide rollers, and the length of the guide rollers is at least 70% of the width of the saw bar.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of automatic chain tensioning when the saw bar moves in its clamped state.
