FIELD: drying.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in granaries, elevators and vegetable storages. The invention relates to a method for drying and a dryer, when the drying air penetrates the dried product (cereals and oilseeds, vegetables) thereby reducing the moisture content of the dried product. The method for drying differs from the known methods in the fact that the drying air first passes through an air filter, is compressed by a compressor and drained, passes through the dried product, then is returned to the air filter, and the cycle is repeated. The energy spent on air compression is also used to push the working air through the dried product. The invention constitutes an apparatus for stable industrial blowing of the dried product with warm or heated compressed air, pre-dried with an industrial dryer for compressed air. The invention ensures gentle drying of cereals, oilseeds, and vegetables.

EFFECT: ensured preservation of the dried product and significant reduction in the energy consumption for drying.
