FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of non-ferrous metallurgy, and in particular to methods for producing low-alloy copper-based alloys intended for the manufacture of various parts subjected to significant mechanical and electrothermal loads during operation. The method includes manufacturing a consumable electrode from charge materials, forming an ingot by electroslag remelting of a single electrode into a mold on a pallet, and deforming it to obtain a workpiece, while the consumable electrode is manufactured by melting the charge materials in an open induction furnace in a graphite crucible using salt flux and subsequent pouring the melt in a protective atmosphere of inert gas, electroslag remelting of the consumable electrode is led into a mold with a diameter of 300-500 mm, controlling the mass rate of deposition of the ingot in a protective atmosphere of inert gas, at the same time, one seed is installed on the pallet in the center, then the ingot is deformed to the final size of the billet.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain an ingot without surface defects, with a homogeneous structure, without foreign inclusions.
