FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of low-alloy heat-resistant copper-based alloys intended for the manufacture of various parts subjected to significant mechanical and thermal loads during operation. The method includes obtaining a copper melt, refining the melt from volatile oxides and other impurities, deoxidation with carbon, refining in a deoxidized state, casting the metal into ingots and crystallization. In preparation for smelting, a preliminary selection of charge materials is carried out, ensuring the purity of the metal in terms of impurities, and a dense loading of a graphite crucible installed in the inductor with a wall thickness of at least 50 mm is performed, while during smelting, unidirectional electromagnetic stirring is repeatedly engaged. Casting is carried out in an argon atmosphere.
EFFECT: invention guarantees compliance with the requirements for chemical composition and ensures a low content of harmful impurities and gases in the metal.
