FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a set of oligonucleotide primers for the specific amplification of twenty microsatellite loci of the long arm of the human chromosome 6 (6q), which can be used in a test system for determining deletions of the long arm of chromosome 6 (6q) by multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR), as well as in a method for identifying patients at risk of adverse course of follicular lymphoma by the presence of significant deletions of the long arm of chromosome 6 (6q) using the above-mentioned test system.
EFFECT: presence of deletions of region 6q in the case of heterozygous inheritance based on the absence of peaks of one of the alleles or a decrease in the intensity of its fluorescence relative to the peak of the second allele of the corresponding microsatellite locus in tumor tissue when compared with the control sample makes it possible to distinguish a group of patients at risk of adverse course of follicular lymphoma.
