FIELD: sealing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sealing technology and can be used for sealing flange joints of industrial pipelines, in particular in the chemical and oil and gas industries and in thermal power engineering. In a sealing gasket for a flange connection with fasteners, containing a sealing element with a means of centering it relative to the flanges of the connection, the sealing element is made in the form of a sandblasted obturation ring using electrocorundum powder with a dispersion of 150-350 microns at a pressure of 0.2-0.5 MPa for 5-6 min; sequentially processed for ultrasonic treatment with a solution of distilled water and ethyl alcohol in a ratio of 4:1 at a temperature of 30-40°C with a processing time of 10-12 minutes; then for chemical etching with a rust converter, then with a 3-4% alcohol solution of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (AGM-9, aminosilane), upon drying of which an adhesive sublayer was formed and then the main (functional) alkyd coating (a product of the interaction of vegetable oils and polyhydric alcohols) on the front and reverse sides of the membranes with a brush. The resulting coating was characterized by a uniform thickness, namely 20 plus or minus 2 mcm, with single microprotrusions up to 20 mcm wide.
EFFECT: simplification of the manufacture of the gasket; and simplification of the repair work associated with the replacement of the gasket.
