FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, and in particular to a method for applying a heat-protective wear-resistant coating on parts made of cast iron and steel. The parts are abraded with silicon carbide with a particle size of 1.5 mm. plasma spraying of the sub-layer having the composition Co-Cr-Al-Y is carried out, and the subsequent spraying of the cermet composition from a mechanical powder mixture containing 10-20 wt.% of nichrome, 20-40 wt.% of zirconium dioxide with a stabilizing additive, 10-20 wt. % of nickel-aluminum and 60-20 wt.% of molybdenum. As a stabilizing additive in zirconium dioxide powder, 4-7 wt.% of yttrium oxide is used.
EFFECT: increased resistance of the coating to wear during friction, wear-in of the ring in the sleeve, anti-seize properties, heat resistance and adhesion of the coating to the base alloy.
