SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmaceutical chemistry and oncology, namely to a compound for photodynamic destruction of malignant tumor cells. A sensitizer for photodynamic destruction of tumor cells is proposed, which is 1-(1-(4-nitrophenyl)ethyl)-2,4,6-triphenyl-1,4-dihydro-1,2,4,5-tetrazine-3(2H)-oh with the structural formula:
