FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medical biotechnology and can be used in clinical medicine and in veterinary medicine for treating malignant tumours of humans and animals. Developed is a new ChBac3.4-1-COOH peptide, constituting a modified analogue of the natural biologically active ChBac3.4 peptide produced from goat leukocytes.
EFFECT: peptide has a pronounced antitumour activity while exhibiting a low hemolytic and selective cytotoxic activity, has a selectivity index SI(n/t) exceeding the same indicator of the ChBac3.4 peptide by 1.6 times, and significantly prolongs the life of model animals with Ehrlich carcinoma.
